OUR 8
STEP REMANUFACTURING PROCESS.
We know that you can’t afford
for anything to go wrong with your
printer, so we go to great lengths
to ensure the quality of our toner
cartridges. The production process
is a complex procedure and is not
simply a “drill and fill”
operation. We follow an 8 step process
and every step of the way we adhere
to strict ISO9001 Quality standards.
We take quality control seriously
and each step is subjected to regular
and spot inspections.
Step 1: Inspect, sort and
grade incoming empty cartridges
Empty cartridges can arrive in many
different conditions. We first visually
inspect the cartridges and then sort
and grade them.
Step 2: Recycling
Generally, around 90% of the incoming
cartridges can be reused. Those that
can’t be re-used, along with
any used packaging materials, parts
and non-conforming components, are
all separated and recycled. And that
reduces landfill.
Step 3: Split and Clean
The cartridge is then split open
and the internal parts are removed
and inspected. The old toner is removed
and the cartridge cleaned. At this
point we know exactly what parts need
rejuvenation or replacement.
Step 4: Sealing
All new toner hoppers are sealed
with an OEM style seal. This ensures
a leak proof ease of installation.
Step 5: Digital Auto Filling
We use state of the art automated
filling equipment to fill up your
toner cartridges. We use only premium
grade chemical toner just like an
OEM. This ensures you get the same
number of quality prints as the OEM.
Each and every time.
Step 6: Assembly
All we need to do now is put all
the parts back together. By this stage
around 75% of the working parts are
new or rejuvenated. This includes
the hopper, magnetic rollers, blades,
gears and drums.
Step 7: Testing
Each cartridge is individually tested
to ensure they print at the same quality
of an OEM product and are clear of
any defects.
Step 8: Packaging
After the final inspection, cartridges
are given a last clean and polish
before they are heat sealed in a static
resistant bag. It is then placed in
a shock resistant airbag to protect
it during transport, and then sealed
in our Printer Workz box.
